The national voice of the human resources profession in Canada, CPHR Canada represents 27,000 members in the Human Resources Profession across nine provinces and three territories. It proactively strives to position the HR industry agenda and represent it to HR associations across the world. Through collaboration between provinces, CPHR Canada works for the advancement, influence, and recognition of the HR profession within the nation and across the world. Its goal is to use strategic HR leadership to advance economic and social success of workplaces and to protect the public. It has signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) U.S., the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI), the Bangladesh Society for Human Resource Management (BSHRM), the Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI), and the Canadian Employee Relocation Council (CERC).
